Mom Forward

Pause. Connect. Figure out what’s next.

Motherhood changes your life. It doesn’t have to erase you. Mom Forward is a live, small-group space for mothers of babies up to 18 months to think about who they are now, what they want next, and how motherhood and the rest of life fit together.

Is this for you?

Maybe you’ve caught yourself thinking:

  • “I don’t know who I am anymore.”
  • “I miss my old life.”
  • “I want to go back to work, but I’m not sure how.”
  • “I need adult conversation.”
  • “I feel like I’m failing at everything.”
  • “I’m exhausted.”

You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

Mom Forward is for you if you are:

  • A mom of a baby between 0 and 18 months
  • A professional whose career has been a big part of who you are
  • Getting ready to return to work, or recently back
  • Feeling isolated, stretched thin or a little lost in the new routine
  • Looking for meaningful conversation and fresh perspective, rather than therapy

How it works

Six live sessions on Zoom, one a week, in a small circle where everyone has space to be heard.

6–8 moms per circle

Small enough to get to know each other, big enough for different perspectives.

Babies welcome

Feeding, rocking, a camera-off moment: all part of it, no apology needed. The baby is present; the conversation is about you.

Stay connected between sessions

With your agreement, we’ll add you to the group’s iMessage chat, so the conversation can keep going during the week and you can lean on each other.

Bring your baby. Bring your coffee. Bring the version of yourself that exists today.

Frequently asked questions

Is this group therapy?

No. Mom Forward is a facilitated conversation circle, focused on perspective, connection and practical next steps. If you’d like individual support, our therapists at Ember are here for that too.

What if my baby needs me during the session?

That’s expected. Feed, rock, step away or turn your camera off whenever you need to. Babies are part of the circle.

What if I miss a session?

Life with a baby is unpredictable. Each session stands on its own, so you can rejoin the following week without falling behind.
