Meet Kelsey "Kiki" Beaman, LPC
Kiki Beaman is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas–dually licensed in Colorado- with a specialized focus on perinatal mental health and EMDR. She is passionate about supporting individuals through the full spectrum of the reproductive journey as well as others throughout the lifespan. Kiki offers a warm, grounded, and trauma-informed space to explore the complexities that life throws at you. Her counseling experience includes working with anxiety, depression, trauma, the perinatal period, relationship stressors, various life adjustments, communication problems, self-esteem, parenting support, and more. Kiki currently works with teens, adults, couples, and families both in person and online to help them live more balanced and meaningful lives.
Her approach to counseling is integrative, drawing from a wide range of therapeutic tools to support the unique needs of each client. Kiki is trained in somatic practices, activity therapy, and talk therapy, which allows her to meet clients where they are. She is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful tool she uses with clients experiencing a variety of different types of mental health concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression and relationship concerns. Kiki’s work is further enriched by her background in yoga, breathwork, and sound healing. As an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, she integrates movement and mindfulness practices to help clients reconnect with their bodies, calm their nervous systems, and support emotional regulation. Her certification in sound healing adds another layer of gentle, body-based support that complements traditional talk therapy.
When requested, Kiki also incorporates nature therapy into her work, which can be especially healing for individuals navigating anxiety, isolation or overwhelm. Whether indoors or outside, Kiki brings a deep respect for the mind-body connection to every session. Kiki earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas. During her training, she interned with Jewish Family Service of Dallas and worked in South Dallas with Latiné teens and families. She continued this work after graduation, expanding her experience with children, adolescents, and families—many of whom were navigating systemic stressors, intergenerational trauma, and parenting challenges.
Kiki believes that people are inherently resilient, but that life's obstacles can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain. She works collaboratively with clients to help them reconnect with their inner strength, find clarity in their experience, and move toward greater ease and authenticity. She believes that people are the experts of their own lives but sometimes need a roadmap to help get back to where they want to be. Outside of the therapy room, Kiki enjoys CrossFit, hiking, yoga, and traveling- but her favorite way to spend time is with her husband and kiddo.
Life can feel overwhelming- especially during big transitions like starting college, navigating relationships, becoming a parent, or figuring out who you really are. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience helping people move through these moments with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. Whether you're a college student feeling anxious, burnt out, or unsure about your relationships- or a new parent navigating identity shifts and career pressures- I offer a warm, supportive space to help you feel more grounded and empowered. My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and focused on what actually works for you. I draw from evidence-based theories and, if you're open to it, incorporate mindfulness practices and creative visuals to help make sense of what you're going through. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, strengthen your voice, and build healthier boundaries in your life and relationships.
Having lived abroad and worked with people from many walks of life, I bring a multicultural, open-minded lens to every session. I offer therapy in English, Spanish, and Russian. Whether you're dipping your toes into therapy for the first time or continuing a journey you’ve already started, I offer a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and create meaningful change - from the inside out.
