Meet Katy Yoder, BA

Katy Yoder is the Social Media Manager at Ember Psychotherapy Collective. With a BA in Communications and Theater from Northwestern University — and currently deepening her expertise in UCLA's Strategic Branding & PR Certificate Program — her background in film and digital media shapes her storytelling philosophy grounded in empathy, authenticity, and connection — content that educates, sparks conversation, and chips away at stigma, one post at a time.

She believes the right words, at the right moment, can make someone feel less alone.

Based in Los Angeles, Katy is a SAG-AFTRA member who also lends her voice to the occasional voice-over project. When she's not crafting content, you'll find her hiking the trails in Malibu with her scruffy rescue dog, Walter.
