Meet Grace Chen, LCSW

Grace's approach is rooted in empathy, kindness, and understanding. She holds a nonjudgmental and collaborative space for clients to courageously explore the intricate nuances of their unique experiences and cultivate a deep sense of self-compassion and acceptance. By navigating these inner landscapes, one can identify patterns, discover inherent strengths, and build a more authentic life. Grace specializes in working with individuals struggling with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment issues, low self-esteem, and dating and relationship challenges. She is passionate about working with those who identify as "outsiders," artists, and those navigating multicultural experiences and identity exploration.

Grace integrates a range of evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's needs including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), psychodynamic therapy, and expressive arts therapies. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Columbia University and a Master's degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
