Meet Disha Joshi, LMHC
Disha is passionate about advocating for the destigmatization of mental health across cultures with the power of group therapy. She has a professional background in behavioral medicine and evidence-based therapies, particularly DBT.
Disha enjoys working with adults, particularly trauma-sensitive populations, LGBTQ+, first generation immigrants, people struggling with disordered eating, students/ young professionals, and those with depression and anxiety. She strives to create a safe, nurturing group atmosphere that allows everyone to feel comfortable to be vulnerable. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, as well Narrative, Psychodynamic, and Existential Therapy.
